Scott Shields was a second round draft pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League in 1999. Scott played in the NFL for 6 years, retiring in 2005 due to multiple injuries. During his career he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Scott is still very active in the NFL Players Association as well as the Retired Players Association and is constantly pursuing retired players to get involved in off road racing and its community.
Scott has been an adrenaline junky and fierce competitor since the age of 2 years old. Scott has excelled at everything he has done including soccer. Scott played professional soccer at the age of 16. Scott plans to continue this success in his off-road racing adventures.
Kevin Shields followed in his brother’s footsteps with a successful career in sports. Kevin was an achieved 3 sport athlete in his high school excelling in football, soccer, and baseball. Kevin’s career and promising future of becoming an NFL player was cut short in 2006 when he suffered his 3rd major shoulder injury forcing him to end his football career.
Kevin like his brother has always been a dare devil pushing the envelope and looking for his next adrenaline rush. That is where he along with his brother found their love for off-road racing. Together these two are a fierce team to be reckoned with. Kevin looks to bring his skills and competitive nature to the off-road world and continue his success.
